Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam will host the “Game of The Century” at Ohio State University’s Stadium Auditorium on Oct. 3.
The game is the first of the 2018 season.
The game will mark the first time since 2001 when the school hosted a game of the year for the first year of a new college football season.
The college football game of year is also the only one held on the weekend.
The event will be televised nationally on ESPN.
The game is expected to draw more than 1.4 million fans to Ohio Stadium, a seating capacity of 20,000.
The Ohio State College Football Game of the Year will be the first major college football event in the city since 2001.
The Cleveland Browns have not hosted a “Game Of The Century.”
It was originally held on Sept. 14, 2001.
In 2002, the Browns hosted the “Ohio Bowl,” a game that was postponed due to Hurricane Katrina.
In 2003, the team hosted the annual “Game On The Plains” game in Dallas.
In 2016, the Ohio State game was moved to Memorial Stadium, with the Browns playing in the “Cleveland Bowl.”
In 2013, the school held the “Hudson Valley Classic” in a “major event.”
In 2014, the stadium hosted a major college bowl game.
In 2015, the game was relocated to Memorial.
