Breitbart News reported on Tuesday that former White House chief strategist Ann Coulter is a “mentor” to Ivanka Donald Trump.
The report, which also cited an unnamed “person familiar with the matter,” added that Coulter “is also a longtime admirer of Ivanka Trump, who is known to be a strong advocate for women’s rights and the advancement of women’s issues.”
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Coulter, who has been one of Trump’s most outspoken critics in recent years, was a co-founder of the National Organization for Women in the 1990s.
Coulter and Ivanka have been friends for years, and Trump has been a frequent guest on Coulter’s radio show.
“I know Ann Coulter.
She’s a great person,” Ivanka Trump said in December, when asked about Coulter on Fox News.
“We have been very close for a long time.
I’ve known Ann Coulter for quite a long period of time.
She really is a very special person.
I think she is the greatest advocate for the rights of women in America, and she really does know and understand the issues of women, and I’m sure that she’s really, really happy that I am with her.”
Coulter is the president of the American Conservative Union, a right-wing group that opposes women’s reproductive rights, abortion, and transgender rights.
Coulter recently said that Ivanka Trump is a strong proponent of “feminism,” which is anti-feminist.
“There are many feminists who are just like Ann Coulter, but they are not just women, they are also the ones who are defending women’s health and safety,” Coulter said on Fox Business Network.
“And, you know, I think it’s important to point out that I think a lot of women who are feminists are actually just like her.
I mean, I’ve had a lot more time with women who’ve been feminists than women who haven’t.”
She went on to say, “The fact is, the fact is that the feminism that they advocate is exactly the feminism we should be fighting for.”
Coulter also tweeted in December that Ivanka has the power to end the war on women, saying, “Ivanka Trump has the ability to end war on Women.
It’s time to end this war on Feminism.”
Ivanka has been an outspoken critic of Trump during her campaign, calling him “the biggest bully in America.”
Trump has also attacked the president’s father, former President Barack Obama, and defended his policies during a 2016 press conference.
“It’s a shame that Ann Coulter and other women who support Donald Trump have to be attacked and attacked,” Trump said at the time.
“Women are very passionate about the issue.
They’re very passionate.
And they have the power.”
